Speaking to EMU TV, Bekir Aksoy highlighted that people of all ages can laugh stating that the play is very humorous and colorful. Noting that he came to EMU 8 years ago with Selçuk Yöntem and Tarık Ünlüoğlu, Aksoy stated that he has noticed that the university’s campus is a lot nicer than it was during his first visit to EMU: “EMU has a very good structure and system. We can see that it is constantly developing and modernizing.” Aksoy then continued to provide information about Bavul stating “Bavul tells a story that could happen to anyone. The story begins when the suitcases of a man and women get mixed-up at the airport. The fun play touches upon human relationships, romantic relationships and misunderstandings.”

“Students of EMU are Very Lucky”

Çiçek Dilligil noted that this is his first time at EMU stating “The university has a great campus. Students studying here are very lucky.” Regarding the play Dilligil said: “I love the character I portray. Sam Bobrick always creates great female characters. My character became a truly great one after the adaptation of Levent Tülek. All women can find elements of themselves in my character. We are going to perform Bavul abroad as well. After Cyprus we are going to go on to Europe. Don’t just like plays, go and watch them because plays will be kept alive with your support”.

Bavul’s cast and crew visited the EMU Rector’s Office before they took to the stage. The group were hosted by EMU Vice Rector for Student Affairs Prof. Dr. Sonuç Zorlu Oğurlu.
