Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Education Faculty, Fine Arts Education Department, Music Teaching Program students gave a Republic Day Concert on the occasion of the 38th anniversary of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC). The concert took place on Tuesday, 16 November 2021 at 12:30 at EMU Central Lecture Halls Lobby. EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Aykut Hocanın, Vice Rector for Social and Cultural Affairs Prof. Dr. Deniz İşçioğlu, Education Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Ahmet Pehlivan, Fine Arts Education Department Hean Prof. Dr. S. Çetin Aydar, academic staff members and students attended the event.
During the concert performed by chamber music groups and department choir; works of J.S. Bach, C.F. Fischer, J. Wanders, F. Tarrega, J. Wanders and as well as the İzmir Anthem and polyphonic Turkish Cypriots were also performed with flute, guitar, singing, piano, double bass and polyphonic choir.
