The results of the 2026 International TOLES Examination, held on 2 July 2026 at Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) in collaboration with the EMU Continuous Education Center, the Faculty of Law and the School of Foreign Languages, have been officially announced.
A total of 26 candidates from Russia, Türkiye, and Cyprus took part in the examination. At the Foundation level, Olga Chernikova achieved the highest score with 91 points, followed by Berfu Kompil with 87, Mehmet Berksun with 86, and Gülçin Dinç with 84.
At the Higher level, Ata İşsever achieved the highest score with 97 points, while Yağmur İbrahimoğulları and Mısra Yıldırım each scored 93, Zerin Avcın scored 91, and Erçin Gökçebel scored 87.
Importance of Success Underscored
It was noted that the achievements attained in the International TOLES Examination, held annually, are particularly significant given the examination’s increasingly challenging structure and high academic standards. Organized in collaboration with the relevant units of EMU, the examination provides candidates with an opportunity to have their knowledge and competence in legal English assessed at an international level.
The International TOLES Examination is scheduled to be held again in 2027. The examination is generally administered in February and June, and candidates from outside EMU may also register and participate.
