Being among the most commonly referenced university ranking organizations all around the world, the England-based Times Higher Education (THE) announced the best universities of the world based on subjects.
Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) listed within the 301-400 band in the Business and Economics subject area which featured 1,067 universities from 91 countries. With this achievement, EMU secured the first band in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and, the third band among universities from the Republic of Türkiye.
EMU has also been listed within the top universities around the world in the field of Physical Sciences and Engineering. Ranking 1,497 universities from 109 different countries, the Physical Sciences list featured EMU in the 301-400 band, securing second band among universities in the Republic of Türkiye. On the other hand, EMU ranked within the 501-600 band of the Engineering subject rankings which listed total of 1,555 universities from 98 countries. With this achievement, EMU secured the fifth band among universities from the Republic of Türkiye.
Being listed in the Medicine and Health subject rankings for the first time ever in last year’s rankings, EMU appeared within the 801-1000 band of the list which featured 1,230 universities from 102 countries, sharing the fourth band with the universities among the Republic of Türkiye.
