Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU), Faculty of Dentistry academic staff Prof. Dr. Şükrü Tüzmen has been awarded with the “Innovation in Education Award” within the scope of the35th Elets World Education Summit, regarded as one of the most prestigious educational organizations around the world. The event took place on 4-5 February 2026 at Shangri-La Hotel, Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. Prof. Dr. Tüzmen was presented with the said award in recognition of his innovation work and global contributions in the field of education.
According to a statement by the organizing committee, Prof. Dr. Tüzmen’s contributions were highlighted, particularly his efforts to enhance quality in higher education, his role in student mentorship, and his impact on institutional capacity development.
The international jury noted that Prof. Dr. Tüzmen’s pioneering work in business, ethics, and intercultural education has made a significant and lasting impact on the academic community.
