Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) continues to maintain its active role in international academic platforms. EMU Faculty of Dentistry academic staff member Prof. Dr. Şükrü Tüzmen successfully represented EMU at the 8th International Anatolian Scientific Research Congress, organized online, under the hosting of Hakkari University, and participated by researchers and scientists from 32 countries.
At the congress, Prof. Dr. Şükrü Tüzmen took part as an invited keynote speaker with his presentation titled “Cancer Drug Discovery in the Genomics Era.” In his presentation, Prof. Dr. Tüzmen discussed recent scientific advancements related to genomics-driven approaches in cancer studies and innovative strategies in next-generation drug discovery. His talk received considerable interest from academics and researchers specializing in the field.
As part of the congress, Prof. Dr. Şükrü Tüzmen also served as a session chair, evaluating the studies presented by researchers from different countries and contributing to interdisciplinary knowledge exchange.
Prof. Dr. Tüzmen’s active involvement in the event further enhanced the scientific visibility of Eastern Mediterranean University and once again demonstrated the university’s research-oriented vision and commitment to international academic collaboration.
