Universal Children's Day

Agreement that associated with children’s right (Convention on the Rights of the Child) is widely accepted document as human rights in the history. 20th of November is Universal Children’s Day. Convention on the Rights of the Child that provides same rights to all children regardless their place of birth, gender, religion and ethnical identity. Convention on the Rights of the Child includes every child who is under 18 years old.

Convention on the Rights of the Child:

  • Agreement protects that
  • Rights of life and development,
  • Right of access to healthcare services,
  • Right of access to qualified education,
  • Right of protection from abuse and neglect,
  • Right of freedom of thought,
  • Right of protection from economic exploitation,
  • Right of talking about their own issues,
  • Right of play and right of special need children.

Four principles of this agreement is non-discrimination, guarding benefit of the child, accession, living and development.
