Script Writing (SVTV242)

The focus is on the importance of pre-conceptualization, preparation and practice in the production of a script for media performance. The focus is on articulating the conceptual idea into a workable project proposal that translates a creative idea into practical procedures before the production begins. Participants will learn the functions and the functional/practical relationships between treatment, scenario/script, shooting script, synopsis, camera cards, lighting plans, set design, location planning and editing script. The course culminates in the production of a “project proposals” by each course participant.
