History of Cinema (SVTV122)
The purpose of this course is to create awareness about film history by displaying the relationship between aspects of cinema including technology, industry, creativity and narrative in history. In this course film history will be elaborated from its beginnings through the mid-1960s and then to contemporary cinema throughout the semester. Students will explore the history of cinema through the film screenings, discussions, and analyses during the class sessions.
