World-Famous Chefs to Teach in EMU

Providing its graduates with the opportunity to work in the most important institutions of the world, Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Faculty of Tourism also strives to improve the quality of the theoretical and practical education it offers. As in the 2018-2019 Academic Year Fall Semester, Eastern Mediterranean University Tourism Faculty has settled an agreement with English Chef Richard O’Connell, Italian Chef Claudio Chinali and German Chef Rene Klinkmüller regarding teaching elective courses at Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Program during the 2019-2020 Academic Year Fall Semester. 

Increasing Number of International Faculty Members

Richard O’Connell, cluster chef of the Tom’s Kitchen Restaurants awarded with two Michelin stars in England, Rene Klinkmüller, captain of the German Culinary

National Team, and Claudio Chinali, Eataly Istanbul’s culinary chef, will be providing an enriched and international learning experience for the students. Educational modules which will take place between 20 and 25 January after the final exam period of the 2019-2020 Academic Year Fall Semester is expected to attract interest at the international arena.
