Turkish Nationals Allowed Unconditional Registration with EMU

Turkish nationals who studied at a Turkish Cypriot high school for an uninterrupted period of 4 years and took part in the Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Entrance and Scholarship exam on the 7th of June 2016 are allowed unconditional registration with EMU.

An additional act has been added to the cooperation treaty signed between Turkey and the TRNC aiming to increase the recognition of both countries’ universities. As a result of the additional act recently signed by Turkey’s president Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Turkish nationals who successfully completed the EMU Entrance and Scholarship Exam are eligible to register with EMU until the 2nd of September 2016. A statement released by EMU Public Relations and Press Directorate reminded those registering for the first time to apply at the EMU Registrar’s Office.
