A ball for children of the children of TRNC Ministry of Labor and Social Security, Social Services Department, Nicosia Children’s Welfare Unit took place at Nicosia Merit Hotel under the sponsorship of AFIK group and in collaboration with Eastern Mediterranean University Tourism Faculty.
The organisation which took place with the coordination of EMU Community Involvement Center Executive Board member Dr. Nazenin Ruso and with the participation of the students of EMU Tourism Faculty hosted national dance shows from Africa, Azerbaijan and Turkey, English-Turkish song performances of Nigerian students, various animation shows, competitions, clown shows, various regional dances and different surprises. Performances of international students dressed in national costumes attracted the attention of children taking part in the ball.
Dean of EMU Tourism Faculty Prof. Dr. Hasan Kılıç thanked AFIK group for their sponsorship and also expressed his hope to introduce similar events in the near future.
