Eastern Mediterranean University, Communication and Media Studies Faculty, Public Relations and Advertising Department students organised two different social responsibility projects targeted towards community.
The first project organised within the framework of the course delivered under the coordinatorship of EMU Public Relations and Advertising Department Chair Assoc. Prof. Dr. Anıl Kemal was carried out by students Mücahit Yasin Pehlivan, Shaiq Elili, İlkin Maharramov, Ceren Akıl, Fuad Safaraliyev and Fadıl İskenderov.
Carried out in collaboration with Famagusta Municipality, the students delivering the project supported the families in need. The said students prepared 15 boxes containing items of basic needs provided under the sponsorship of Ege Doğuş Toprak Furniture, Alfam Dormitories and Tamel Market and delivered them to 15 families in need with Famagusta Municipalities’ contributions.
Another social responsibility project carried out within the framework of Social Responsibility Project for Marketing Communication course delivered under the coordinatorship of academic staff member Dr. Umut Ayman took place with the participation of students Burcu Akyol, Abdülkadir Güven, Batuhan Gürarslan, Dilay Beyazgül and Nihan Çetin. Within the framework of the said project, students placed a “Donation Box” in front of Tamel Market located in Kaliland Region between 29 and 31 December 2015.
Having taken place under the sponsorship of Tamel Market, students informed the families in need about the donation box, from which the said families obtained items they need. Students involved in the project lived the happiness of supporting families in need during the final days of 2015.
