Staff Members of EMU Received In-Service Training Certificates

223 staff members of Eastern Mediterranean University who attended in-service training sessions organised by the Personnel Affairs Directorate in collaboration with EMU Continuing Education Center during the 2014-2015 Academic Year received their certificates at a ceremony. During the current academic year a total of 146-hour training input on personal and institutional development was delivered to staff members currently employed in EMU.

During the certificate ceremony which took place at the Library Auditorium on 8 July 2015, EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Necdet Osam stated that the establishment and structuring of an institution is not an easy process. Prof. Dr. Osam also added that each institution needs a spirit, without which development does not occur. Putting forth that EMU is taking firm steps in the path of development, Prof. Dr. Osam added that EMU will keep itself up-to-date in every aspect as usual. Stating that in-service training provides help in accelerating an institution’s momentum, Prof. Dr. Osam thanked all those who contributed to the organisation and the delivery of the aforesaid training sessions.

Certificates were distributed to the participants by Rector Prof. Dr. Osam, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Hıfsiye Pulhan, Vice Rector Prof Dr. Salih Katırcıoğlu and Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Bekir Özer, EMU Personnel Affairs Director Özlem Avcı, EMU-CEC Vice Chair Assoc. Prof. Dr. Orhan Korhan and EMU-CEC Executive Board member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sıtkıye Kuter.   The certificate ceremony continued with a cocktail.
