The opening of the 6th Photography Exhibition organised by Eastern Mediterranean University Foreign Languages and English Preparatory School Photography Club took place with a ceremony.
Students and academic staff members Aslı Düzgün (Turkey), Batuhan Altaş (Turkey), Eren Küfi (T.R.N.C.), Gökhan Aksoy (Turkey), Göksel Yılmaz (Turkey), Iman Aghaei (Iran), Nasim Borgheie (Iran), Öney Çağakan (T.R.N.C.), Tuğçe Alın (Turkey), Walid Kassab (Iran) and Zeynep Okka (Turkey), who participated in the exhibition with their photos received their certificates during the ceremony. Chair of EMU Foreign Languages and English Preparatory School Photography Club academic staff member Eren Küfi stated that the interest towards the photography club has increased considerably. Küfi added that during trips students speak in English which gives them the opportunity of extra practice. Küfi put forth that with their involvement in the photography club, students not only receive basic information on photography but also have a chance to explore Cypriot villages and historical sites.
The exhibition will be open for photo lovers at EMU Foreign Languages and English Preparatory School until 31 March 2015.
