Contributions to the New Scholarship System of the Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) continue. Another institution that supports EMU's New Scholarship System was Petek Patisseries.
A Student Scholarship Agreement has been signed between EMU and Petek Patisseries at Vice Rector Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dr. Deniz İşçioğlu’s Office at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, 18 August 2020. The protocol has been signed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Deniz İşçioğlu on behalf of EMU and Mehmet Petek on behalf of Petek Patisseries.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. İşçioğlu said “We would like to thank Petek Patisseries for their contribution to the new scholarship system initiated by EMU and for being a scholarship provider for our successful students with financial difficulties. Mehmet Petek thanked EMU for implementing such a project and asked business people to support this project. Reminding that Mustafa Kemal Atatürk entrusted the future of the country upon young people, Petek called on business people to support this project.
