Organized by the Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Tourism Faculty a conference titled “A Career in America’s Tourism Sector and Internship Program” took place at the Tourism Faculty Conference Hall. The speaker at the conference was Worldwide Career Company owner Musafa Üzer.
Üzer started the conference by providing information about Worldwide Career, introducing the hotels and restaurants they work with as part of their American programs. He then talked about the requirements and conditions providing examples of previous students who participated in program.
Students from the EMU Tourism and Hospitality Management Department and the Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department attended the conference along with Tourism Faculty academic staff. The event aimed to strengthen collaboration between EMU Tourism Faculty and Worldwide Career, in order to provide new opportunities like scholarships for students who have attended the program and successfully graduated.
At the end of the conference Üzer was handed a plaque of appreciation by Tourism Faculty academic staff member Assoc. Prof. Ali Öztüren.
