Eastern Mediterranean University hosted academic staff members of Algeria-based Medea University and a group of students and an academic staff member from Russia-based Vladimir State University.
A group of 10 students and academic staff member Nadezdha Kamaydanova from Vladimir State University visited EMU between 16 and 29 November 2014. During the two-week visit, the aforesaid group of students received a general English course from EMU Foreign Languages and English Preparatory School and had a chance to visit various attractions within TRNC. At the end of the course, students received their certificates from Vice Rector for Promotion Prof. Dr. Hasan Amca.
On the other hand, Medea University academic staff members Dr. Mohammed Announ and Dr. Tayeb Kermesi paid an important visit to EMU. During the visit, the two academics had a chance to exchange information with Vice Rector for Promotion Prof. Dr. Hasan Amca regarding collaboration possibilities between the two universities. Dr. Mohammed Announ and Dr. Tayeb Kermesi, who also had a the opportunity of exploring EMU campus, stated their amazement with the quality of education and the university’s infrastructural quality.
