About Kanlı Nigar

Kanlı Nigar was taken from a Karagöz shadow play and turned into a theatre play with music and dance by Sadık Şendil. The play tells the story of “Cihanyandı Kanlı Nigar” whose childhood took place in a rich estate where she was later kicked out because she was raped by the head of the household. She then went on to make a living by tricking men.
