Within the collaborations of Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Faulty of Education, Department of Elementary Education and Association of Women to Support Living (KAYAD), a seminar on “Woman Trafficking” was organized with the intention of awareness raising on woman trafficking, indicators of woman trafficking and steps to be taken in this regard. The seminar that was organized within the scope of the Community Service course took place with the participation of course instructors Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gülen Onurkan Aliusta, Assist. Prof. Dr. Nihan Koran and department academic staff member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eda Yazgın. The seminar was interactively delivered by Assist. Prof. Dr. Meltem Onurkan Samani.
The seminar that took place within the framework of the European Union funded “Do Not Ignore” project carried out by KAYAD was organized and moderated by the students of Elementary Education Department. KAYAD presented certificate of participation for each student of EMU Faculty of Education, Elementary Education Department who participated in the event.
