Rauf Raif Denktas Culture and Congress Center
Eastern Mediterranean University is finalising the preparations for Geomorphologies Exhibition organised by Eastern Mediterranean University Center for Cyprus Studies (EMU – CCS) and European Mediterranean Art Association (EMAA). The opening of said event will take place at Rauf Raif Denktaş Culture and Congress Center at 6:00 p.m. on 2 December 2015.
İsmet Tatar’s works of art including “Soil” and “Tranquil Moments” created between 2006 and 2013 will be exhibited under the curatorship of Dr. Esra Plümer Bardak. In the catalogue script prepared by Dr. Esra Plümer Bardak, İsmet Tatar’s world and process of the creation of art-work is re-defined and commented upon. Focusing on the process rather than the end-product, the curator develops on the joint transformation of soil and nature with their existing meaning.
The exhibition will be open for art-lovers at Rauf Raif Denktaş Culture and Congress Center between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. during weekdays from 2 to 30 December 2015.
