On 9 April 2014, 5th International Futsal Tournament finals organised by Eastern Mediterranean University Social and Cultural Activities Directorate in collaboration with Sports Affairs Directorate and the International Center took place at EMU Lala Mustafa Paşa Sports Center at 5:30 p.m. During the finals of the tournament which hosted male teams from 23 countries and female teams from 7 countries, the following results were obtained:
TRNC-Nigeria (females): 4 – 1, Nigeria-Libya (males): 4 – 3
Prior to the finals, matches took place for the third place. The third place in female teams was obtained by Russia and in male teams by Iran. Following the finals, EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Abdullah Y. Öztoprak and vice rectors presented cups and medals to winning teams.
