Eastern Mediterranean University, Business and Economics Faculty, Business Department 3rd year student Farizat Zinedine Omar obtained remarkable success as a contestant in TV 8’s Rising Star Contest. Representing the TRNC, Kazakhstan and Eastern Mediterranean University in the said contest, Omar received 89 % of the votes with her outstanding performance.
Stating that she applied for the contest in May, Omar added that she successfully passed all preliminary auditions. Omar expressed her pleasure in studying in EMU and added that she chose Eastern Mediterranean University after a careful research.
Omar also expressed her happiness in the high quality education she is currently receiving in EMU as well as the large variety of social and cultural activities provided by the university. Further highlighting the importance of high quality study opportunities provided by EMU at international standards, Omar stated that she will try her best efforts in representing the university in the best way possible.
