Famous Guitarist Okan Ersan Delivers a Talk at EMU

Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Education Faculty, Department of Fine Arts Education hosted Turkish Cypriot jazz fusion guitarist and composer Okan Ersan. The event attended by EMU Education Faculty Vice Dean Asst. Prof. Dr. Hatice Nilay took place at the Mustafa Afşin Ersoy Hall on Thursday the 28^th November 2019. During his talk that commenced at 14:30, Okan Ersan touched upon rhythm, melody and harmony. Relaying his opinions regarding how to be a good musician, Ersan spoke about the difficulties of becoming a musician. Highlighting that being a good listeners is just as important as being a good musician, Ersan touched upon his own career. During the talk, Ersan also carried out guitar performance.
