Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU), Faculty of Communication, Department of Visual Arts and Communication Design Masters programme students work will be exhibited at the 2nd Istanbul design biennial.
Faculty advisors Assoc. Prof. Umit Inatci, Assoc. Prof. Senih Cavusoglu, Assist Prof. Firat Tuzunkan and Assist Prof Aysu Arsoy will be overseeing the projects entitled “Maras – Ghost Town” based on the stories of the lost city and its people.
The first biennial was held in 2012 in Istanbul and this year, more than 30 universities with around 60 projects will be displayed. Universities from different walks of life will be attending the biennial the universities will organize seminars, panels and special projects to expand upon the theme of the biennial.
