Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Vice Rector for Promotional Affairs Prof. Dr. Hıfsiye Pulhan and Promotion Coordinator Asst. Prof. Dr. Erkan Arkın travelled to Turkey between the 12th and 14th of November 2019 to attend a range of promotional activities within the scope of their visit to EMU’s Turkish Liaison Offices. On the 12th of November 2019, EMU’s Educational Consultant Süleyman Beledioğlu delivered a seminar titled “Effective Preparation for the University Exam”. The seminar was organized by Niğde’s Provincial Directorate of National Education and was attended by 1500 final year high school students from across the province.
In-Service Training Collaborations Were Discussed
Prof. Dr. Pulhan and Asst. Prof. Dr. Arkın held meetings with Mersin and Adana’s Provincial Directors of National Education on the 13th and 14th of November 2019. During the said meetings, collaborations between EMU and the Directorates of National Education were discussed concerning EMU providing in-service training to counsellors and teachers in the provinces. A consensus was built regarding the possibility of signing a memorandum of understanding similar to that signed with the İstanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education.
