EMU Tourism Faculty Student Successfully Graduates from Virginia Tech University

Within the scope of the collaboration agreement signed between Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Tourism Faculty and Virginia Tech University, EMU student Taira Ibragimova successfully completed her last semester training at Virginia Tech University in the USA.

EMU Tourism Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Hasan Kılıç expressed his appreciation of Ibragimova on her success and experiences she gained during her time in the USA. Prof. Dr. Kılıç emphasized that the agreement with Virginia Tech University provides EMU Tourism Faculty students the opportunity to graduate from a university that is among the top five universities in the USA in the field of Hotel Management and Tourism Management. Virginia Tech University is also ranked as the 12th best university in the world by the ShanghaiRankings.

Taira Ibragimova stated that thanks to the high-quality education she received at the EMU Faculty of Tourism, she went to America with a very qualified knowledge in the field of Tourism and Hotel Management, and thus successfully completed her courses. Expressing her gratitude to the EMU Faculty of Tourism, which offers its students this unique opportunity like no other, Taira stated that the courses she took at Virginia Tech made a significant contribution to her career, and that, in addition to her academic development, studying in the USA allowed her to make memories that will last a lifetime.
