Six graduates of Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts have obtained the opportunity to work at an international chain after graduation as a result of a collaboration between EMU Tourism Faculty and COYA Restaurant Group.  Releasing a statement on the matter, EMU Tourism Faculty academic staff member and internship coordinator Koral Karamanoğlu stated that their graduates have started to work at internationally renowned COYA restaurants as a result of the collaboration. Karamanoğlu indicated that students; Damla Lisaniler, Ali Kasabalı, Mehmet Topçu and Enis Kızıl started working as chefs at the London Mayfair COYA restaurant and that Beril Yavuz and Mehmet Akif Boynıkısa will start working at COYA Abu Dhabi in August.

COYA London Executives visited EMU Tourism Faculty in April where they delivered presentations and carried out interviews. As a result of the collaboration being productive for both parties, teams from COYA UAE and COYA London will be visiting EMU Tourism Faculty in October this year with the aim of hiring new graduates for International COYA Restaurants.
