Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Faculty of Education, Department of Foreign Language Education, English Language Teaching Master's program will be offered in Nicosia. According to a statement released by EMU Education Faculty, Foreign Language Education Department, the opening of the MA program in English Language Teaching in Nicosia, which is currently being offered in EMU, is intended to provide convenience to prospective students living in and around Nicosia, especially to those may have difficulty in traveling to Famagusta due to work committments or transportation problems. The courses will be held between 18:00 and 21:00 in the aforesaid program. The venue of the master's program in Nicosia will be announced soon.
Same Application Requirements
The same conditions must be fulfilled for applications to the MA Program in English Language Teaching to be offered in Nicosia. Those wishing to apply must have a bachelor's degree and meet the admission requirements of the Department of Foreign Language Education in EMU. Accordingly, the documents required to be submitted by the applicants, are the official transcript of the courses taken at the undergraduate level, a four-year undergraduate program diploma taken from a university or any other equivalent institution, English proficiency score documents, three letters of recommendation for non-EMU graduates, photocopies of passport or ID card and a passport size photograph (6 cm x 5 cm). All documents must be in English. The language requirements are as follows: minimum 80 from TOEFL (IBT), minimum 6.5 from IELTS, minimum 58 from PTE Academic, minimum 90 from EMU FLEPS English Language Stage II Exam and minimum 66 from YDS/ YÖKDİL.
