EMU School of Computing and Technology Offering Vocational High School Students an Exam-Free Entrance and a State Scholarship

Eastern Mediterranean University, School of Computing and Technology (EMU-SCT) is offering TRNC students who have graduated from a Vocational High School, Industrial Vocational High school as well as Commerce High School a chance to attend EMU-SCT’s 2-year associate degree program without having to take entrance exams and offering a state scholarship. TR students who graduated from a TRNC vocational high school can apply through OSYM and benefit from lower fees, which are applied to TRNC students.

Since the programs are offered in the Turkish language, students will not need to take an English Proficiency Exam or attend the English Language School. EMU-SCT Director Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Ilkan talked about the advantages offered to students and stated that students can choose from Electrical and Electronic Technology, Computer Programming, Accounting and Taxation, construction technology as well as the mapping and cadastral surveying program.  Students who graduate from the 2-year programs will be eligible to attend the 4 year program without the need for entrance exams.
