EMU Rector’s Office Immortalizes Yasin Düşüner

The Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Rector’s Office has immortalized EMU Crows American Football player Yasin Düşüner, who passed away on the 21st of March 2019, by giving his name to the EMU Stadium after the tragic event which caused great grief for the EMU community.

As a result of this decision the EMU Stadium will now be called the “EMU Yasin Düşüner Stadium”. A statement released by the EMU Rector’s Office reads as follows: “We respectfully announce to the public that we have made the decision to name our university stadium after EMU Crows American Football player Yasin Düşüner, who lost his life on the 21st of March 2019.”
