EMU Preparatory School Students Discovering Cultural Heritage

As part of the Community Involvement Project, a group of international students from EMU Foreign Languages and English Preparatory School visited Kyrenia Castle and Kyrenia Harbour with their course instructors Nevin Adalar and Hatice Güneş.

In line with the same project, another group of international students were taken to historical places within Nicosia Walled City. Stating that they have similar historical places in their own countries, students put forth that when they return to their own countries, they will start collecting detailed information about the historical places in their homeland.

Another meaningful visit of the aforesaid school was to the animal shelter in Arapköy operating under the Kyrenia Animal Rescue Foundation. During the visit which took place under the organisation of Senior Instructor Sevdiye Toker, students were given information on the operations of the animal center. The representatives of the Kyrenia Animal Rescue Center expressed their pleasure for the students’ interest in the shelter as well as EMU Foreign Languages and English Preparatory School’s contributions to the center.
