Operating under Eastern Mediterranean University Social and Cultural Activities Directorate, the International Relations Club organised an event entitled “Young Bureaucrats Debate” at EMU Business and Economics Faculty.
Also hosting Cyprus International University, the debate entitled “Should the United Nations have their Own Military Force?” took place with the participation of student groups of four from different faculties. Groups representing both universities provided their arguments on the topics and went through the evaluation of the jury consisting of 4 members of academic staff from EMU and Cyprus International University.
The debate which hosted a considerable number of valuable ideas carries importance in providing an environment allowing a healthy exchange of ideas.
