Azarbaijan Cultural Day activity organized by Eastern Mediterranean University International Office and EMU Azerbaijan Student Community took place at Rauf Raif Denktaş Culture and Congress Center. The event which started at 7:00 p.m. with the national anthem of Azerbaijan featured a video screening on Azerbaijan. EMU Azerbaijan Student Community Chair delivered an opening speech and thanked everyone who attended the event.
In his opening address, Eastern Mediterranean University Vice Rector for Promotion Prof. Dr. Hasan Amca wished a colorful night to all those who attended.
Azerbaijan Cultural Day featured dances and songs representing Azerbaijani culture as well as Caucasian dances. Dance group MOD also particated in the event with a fascinating dance show. Azerbaijani singers Elvin Mirzazade and Variz Akbarov entertained the audience with their songs.
