Eastern Mediterranean University organised a tennis tournament in memory of late academic staff member, Dr. Ayten Sururi, who passed away three years ago. Around 60 participants attended the tournament which took place at EMU tennis courts between 12 and 16 December 2014. The tournament had six categories according to age groups. The final matches were played at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, 16 December 2014. Following the final matches, an award ceremony took place at 8:30 p.m. Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Hıfsiye Pulhan, Coordinator for Vice Rector’s Office for Student Affairs Senior Instructor Mutlu Kale and Dr. Ayten Sururi’s family members presented the awards to the winning players.
