Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Faculty of Business and Economics Graduate
Programs that have been offered in Nicosia since the Spring Term of the 2012-2013 Academic
Year continue.The programs to be offered are; Business Management Master’s Program with or without Thesis (Turkish medium), Banking and Finance Master’s Program without thesis (Turkish medium),
Managerial Economics Master’s Program without thesis (Turkish medium), Financial
Economics Master’s Program without thesis (Turkish medium) and, Gender Studies Master’s
Program with or without thesis (Turkish medium).
In addition to the aforementioned programs, within the framework of the cooperation agreement between the Department of Banking and Finance and Queens University in Canada, the opportunity to obtain an "Investment Evaluation and Project Finance Certificate" is also offered in Nicosia. On the other hand, EMU Faculty of Education, English Language Teaching Doctorate Program and Guidance and Psychological Counseling, Educational Administration and Supervision and Education Programs and Teaching Postgraduate Programs affiliated to EMU Educational Sciences Department are also available in Nicosia.
Courses Offered After Working Hours
If the aforementioned postgraduate courses will be offered face to face in the near future, they will be delivered at the Ataturk Teachers Academy in scope of a protocol settled for this purpose
The programs which aim to bring up specialised labor force in different fields in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), create an alternative for those who are involved in business life and also want to pursue a postgraduate education. In the graduate programs offered, delivery of the courses after working hours provides a great advantage for public employees. EMU graduates planning to enroll in EMU graduate programs for the first time, receive a 15% discount in tuition fees.
Discounts for Public Employees
According to the statement made, all the TRNC public employees planning to enroll in the
mentioned postgraduate programs for the 2020 – 2021 Academic Year Spring Semester will be
eligible to receive a 20% discount. EMU also stated that they have taken all the requests into
consideration and, in addition to the civil servants, employees of private corporations will also
receive a 30% discount if the organisation they work for has signed or will sign a cooperation
protocol with EMU.
