Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Health Sciences Faculty, Nutrition and Dietetics Department Undergraduate Program has been awarded a 5-year accreditation, effective between 8 March 2022 and 30 September 2027, by the Health Sciences Education Programs Accreditation Board (SABAK).
Operating as an independent association, SABAK provides accreditation for health sciences education programs in different disciplines through conducting assessment and awareness-raising activities that contribute to the improvement of the quality of education in the health sciences field in Turkey. SABAK evaluation consists of 9 different assessment criteria; “Education Program”, “Program Outcomes”, “Student”, “Academic Staff”, “Infrastructure”, “Administration Structure”, “Institution Support and Financial Resources”, “Continuous Renewal and Development” and lastly, “Discipline-Specific Criteria”.
