The students and faculty in the EMU Department of Interior Architecture decided to fill the dead corner of their studio building with colorful cardboard squares representing the pixels of designers’ life image and see how everyone will react to this difference. The pictures from the intervention were presented as a proof of the important role of design in changing the people’s reactions to ordinary things and how the design as a positive medium has the power to shape the moments of people’s lives. A dead and abandoned corner of a building became the center of attraction with a single design solution.
