EMU Interior Architecture Department Academic Staff member Attended a Seminar on “Natural Acoustic Solutions in Multipurpose Halls”

EMU Architecture Faculty, Interior Architecture Department academic staff member Assist. Prof. Dr. Münevver Özgür Özersay attended a seminar entitled “Natural Acoustic Solutions in Multipurpose Halls”.

The two-day seminar which took place in Ankara under the organisation of TMMOB, Chamber of Interior Architects focused on the natural acoustic solutions of a sample hall. Carried out by Konya Selçuk University Fine Arts Faculty academic staff member Assist. Prof. Dr. Rabia Köse Doğan, the seminar hosted 20 participants among whom were interior architects, students and academic staff members.

The seminar commenced with TMMOB Chamber of Interior Architects Executive Board Chair Hüseyin Tolga Koyuncugil’s opening address followed by discussions on the “Definition and Types  of Acoustics”. The seminar also featured an application part when each participant carried out designs and calculations in their own laptops. The event finished with the distribution of the certificates of attendance.

EMU Interior Architecture Department academic staff member Assist. Prof.. Dr. Münevver Özgür Özersay, who took part in the seminar through the support of EMU Rector’s Office, stated her happiness in participating in the seminar and expressed her hope for the organisation of further events as such.
