Organised annually by the Eastern Mediterranean University, Social and Cultural Activities Directorate, 9th “Rock’n EMU” was held at EMU Yasin Düşüner Stadium between 5:00 p.m. and 03:30 a.m. on Friday, 26 April 2019. As it is every year, the event was held with great enthusiasm and participation. Rock lovers attending the event had an unforgettable night with famous rock groups and rock singers of Turkey Duman, Hayko Cepkin, Pentagram and Evrencan Gündüz. The event also hosted the concerts of our country’s popular group Force Awakens and EMU Music Club.
The Stadium was Completely Full
Members of the public who attended the concerts from different corners of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus had delightful moments at the event. Entrance to the concerts was free of charge. On behalf of the Eastern Mediterranean University Rector’s Office, the participating groups and singers were presented plaques of appreciation by Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Prof. Dr. Halit Tanju Besler and Vice Rector for Student Affairs Prof. Dr. Sonuç Zorlu Oğurlu.
