Eastern Mediterranean University Graphic Design and New Media Design Club organised a seminar entitled “An Outlook on Visual Effects and the Animation World”. The seminar hosted visual effect designers of Digiflame Production.
Serkan Semiz and Celal Öztürk from Digiflame Production which produced the visual effects of “Magnificent Century”, “Çanakkale: End of the Road” and “Are We Okay?” movies provided technical information on visual effect and animation as well as examples of work produced by their production company. During the second part of the seminar, Semiz and Öztürk gave information on the functioning of the visual effect industry throughout the world and in Turkey.
Comparing serial productions both at national and international level, Semiz stated that visual effect productions in Turkish serials are well above the world standards.
At the end of the seminar, certificates were distributed to the participants.
