Organised by the Student Council operating under Eastern Mediterranean University Social and Cultural Activities Directorate, a seminar by Nil Avunduk entitled “Change-Transformation and Inner Cleansing” took place at EMU Activity Hall in two sessions on 2 April 2015.
Prior to the seminar, Nil Avunduk visited EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Necdet Osam and thanked the university staff for their hospitality. Vice Rector for Student Affairs Prof. Dr. Hıfsiye Pulhan also attended Prof. Dr. Osam’s meeting with Avunduk.
During the seminar, Avunduk shared her experiences regarding the importance of the inner cleansing in a person’s life and how it can be achieved. Nil Avunduk also carried out some inner-cleansing practice with some seminar participants. Among notable participants who attended the seminar were Famagusta District Governor Şifa Çolakoğlu, Famagusta Mayor and President of the Board of Trustees İsmail Arter, EMU Board of Trustees member Hayri Orçan, government officials and EMU staff. At the end of the seminar, EMU Student Council Chair İbrahim Öztürk presented a plaque of appreciation to Nil Avunduk.
