Within the framework of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus’ ’15 November Republic Day” celebrations, a group of international journalists paid a visit to Eastern Mediterranean University on Friday, 13 November 2015. EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Necdet Osam and Political Science and International Relations Department Chair Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erol Kaymak held a meeting with the said journalists at EMU Senate room.
During he said visit, Prof. Dr. Osam provided detailed information about EMU with a special focus on accreditation projects. Following his presentation, Prof. Dr. Osam answered questions coming from the visiting group. After Prof. Dr. Osam, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kaymak delivered a presentation about the Cpyrus Conflict and answered questions.
Participated by journalists from over twenty countries including Lithuania, Estonia, Kyrgyzstan, Sudan, Bosnia Herzegovina, Albany, Portugal, Kosovo, Poland, Turkey, Qatar, Italy, Oman, Bahrain, America, Serbia, Russia, Spain, Denmark, Bulgaria, Azerbaijan, Tunusia, Moldovia and Kuwait, the visit also included a lunch organisation at EMU Tower Restaurant.
