Organised by the Law Club operating under the Social and Cultural Activities Directorate affiliated to the Eastern Mediterranean University Vice Rector’s Office for Student Affairs, a conference titled “Advocacy: One of the Three Legs of the Judiciary ” was held at EMU Faculty of Law LA1 Amphi at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, 5 November 2019. The speaker at the conference was Yiğit Gökçehan Koçoğlu, who is an Executive Lawyer at Karakaya Legal Firm and the Lawyer of Fenerbahçe Sports Club. Adv. Koçoğlu, who graduated from EMU Faculty of Law in 2015 as the highest ranking student, talked about the place and importance of the advocacy profession in the legal world. Adv. Koçoğlu also shared his experiences with the students of EMU Faculty of Law and provided recommendations for them for their personal development and future career.
