Organised by Eastern Mediterranean University, Social and Cultural Activities Directorate, a concert and a poetry reading night by İbrahim Sadri took place at Rauf Raif Denktaş Culture and Congress Center at 7:00 p.m. on 23 March 2016.
During the event, İbrahim Sadri read pieces from his own poems as well as those written by famous poets accompanied by the songs of famous singers including Cem Karaca, Sezen Aksu and Musa Eroğlu.
At the end of the event which received popular interest from students, academic and administrative staff members as well as local community, Vice Rector for Student Affairs Prof. Dr. Hıfsiye Pulhan presented a plaque of appreciation to Sadri.
