Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Nursing organized online seminars for intern students as part of the preparatory seminars for graduation. During the seminars which took place between 9 and 12 March 2021 under the moderation of Assist. Prof. Dr. Rojjin Mamuk, Specialist from Health Sciences University, Gülhane Training and Research Hospital, General Surgery Diabetic Foot Clinic, Nurse Simay Akyüz delivered an online presentation titled “Wounds Caused by Medical Materials and Equipment in Covid Days” and Ankara Güven Hospital Nursing Services Coordinator, Specialist Nurse Sevgi Bakır and Nursing Services Deputy Coordinator Çiğdem Şahin Aktekin made a presentation under the title “ No Need to Fall from the Roof to Understand Those Falling from the Roof”.
The following presentations were also made during the aforesaid event: EMU Nursing Department academic staff member Assist. Prof. Dr. Rojjin Mamuk on "COVID-19 Management in Pregnancy and Postpartum Services", and Senior Instructor Kerem Yıldız on "COVID-19 Management in Surgical Clinics". EMU Health Sciences Faculty Vice Dean Assist. Prof. Dr. Gülten Sucu Dağ, Head of Nursing Department Prof. Dr. Sevinç Taştan, faculty members of Nursing Department, interns and many Nursing Department students attended the event.
