Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU), Faculty of Communication, Department of Public Relations and Advertising Final year students in collaboration with EMU Civic Centre has organized a civic involvement project entitled “Support the fight against cancer one step at a time”. The project was organized by Assist. Prof. Anil Kemal Kaya, Umut Ayman as well as final year students Erdem Kaya and Haniyeh Yeganli. All the funds raised at the event (1894TL) were donated to the cancer patient aid association. The event was held at the Rauf Raif Denktash Congress Centre.
First place winners of the show “Yetenek Sizsiniz” Kivanc and Burak appeared on stage with a spectacular show. Raziye Kocaismail delivered a short speech at the end of the night stating that all the proceeds from the event will go towards cancer patients and it will be very meaningful for them. They ended the event by giving Burak and Kivanc certificates of honor.
