Eastern Mediterranean University’s Entrance and Scholarship Exam for the nationals of the TRNC was held between 2:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on 2 June 2015. A total of 1070 candidates sat for the exam which took place at EMU in Famagusta and in Turkish Maarif College in Nicosia.
Top scoring candidates in each program, excluding medicine, have been awarded 100% uninterrupted and unconditional scholarship while candidates with the 2nd and 3rd highest score have been granted 50% of the same scholarship. Finally, those ranking the 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th in each program have been awarded 25% uninterrupted and unconditional scholarship.
The exam contained Mathematics, Science, Turkish, Social Sciences sections as well as the English Language Test and Visual Skills Test. All candidates’ scores from all main sections of the exam, namely Mathematics – Science (MS), Turkish – Mathematics (TM) and Turkish – Social Sciences (TS) have been calculated, accordingly. Additionally, if the candidates chose to do so, their scores for English Language, Visual Skills (VS), Music (M) and Sports (SP) sections have been calculated separately.
Students who passed EMU’s Entrance and Scholarship Exam may carry out their registration procedures at EMU Registrar’s Office until September, 2015.
