Department of Radio, Tv and Film Studies is one of the most popular departments in EMU and it is showing great success.
Technical equipment is continuously being renewed in order to increase the performance of students during the completion of their projects. The Head of the Department of Radio, Tv and Film Studies Assist. Prof. Pembe Behcetogullari stated that the renewed camera equipment was of the latest technology with very high image quality and professional features. She also stated that they give very promising lessons on photography and that the new professional cameras will provide better opportunities for students.
Students are also using the latest movie editing software in the field. Behcetogullari also added that students can also borrow equipment for their own personal projects.
The department also holds a “Film Fone Festival” yearly to encourage talented students to participate with films being recorded from mobile phones and tablets.
