EMU Department of Public Relations and Advertising Students Organize 23rd of April Entertainment for SOS Children’s Village

The Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Community Involvement Center has carried out another social responsibility project. Within the scope of the Graduation Project course delivered by EMU Faculty of Communication, Department of Public Relations and Advertising Chair Assoc. Prof. Dr. Anıl Kemal Kaya, students Sevinç Kahveci, Batuhan Bilgehan, Kaan Vechi, Eren Kızıltan and Aysun Zabitler carried out a very meaningful event.

Within the scope of the 23rd of April National Sovereignty and Children’s Day EMU students visited children aged 1-6 at the SOS Children’s Village in Nicosia. After informing the children about the importance and meaning of the day, the students carried out face painting and dancing events which the children and their teachers thoroughly enjoyed.

At the end of the event, SOS Nursery and Kindergarten Headmistress Ebru Efendi stated: “It is very good for the children to participate in such events. They become happy when they participate in different activities organized by different people. Children love face painting, balloons and music”. Ebru Efendi concluded by thanking EMU Public Relations and Advertising program students.
